I've had mine for years. They get better with age.

I have had my Minnetonkas for about ten or twelve years, wife has bought me new name brand slippers and so have kids over the years. Guess which I still wear and will continue to wear, you guessed it, my NEW Minnetonkas.

Worth every penny! Mine have lasted for years and continue to be my most comfortable slipper.

I love mine but my dog doesn't. She acts scared or sheepish whenever I wear them. Has anyone ever seen this? I don't know if it's the smell or something else. if it's smell related, is there a recommended cleaning method for these mocs? thanks, Joe

Just received a new pair of these for Christmas, to replace the (comparable) pair I've had for yeeeeears. LOVED the old ones but the sheepskin underfoot had worn out, and had no reason to believe the new ones would not be equally loved. I have to say though, I'm extremely disappointed in the fit. The back part of the moccasin that covers the heel is oddly shallow, allowing it to slip off my heels when I walk. The only solution I can find is to pull the laces a bit taut, but when I do that, the moccasin is uncomfortably tight, even leaving indentations in the skin on top of my feet when removed. I don't know, but my old ones had a bit of a higher rise to them, and I didn't have any problems with my heels slipping out when walking. Maybe that's because they seemed to be constructed with quite a bit more sheepskin, as a lot of it was exposed around the top edges of the mocs. For the price, you'd think they'd be just a bit more substantial.
