Like so many others here, I've worn Minnetonkas since I was around 15 or 16; that would be the 70s. I've had so many pairs, I forget the ones I've had but the Thunderbirds fit my feet the best because of the rounded toes. The sharper pointed toes, i.e. driving moccasins, get too narrow at the toe and the stitching winds up breaking and unraveling all the way around the shoe. Even with a larger size, after about 1 summer, they are done. So! I stick with the Thunderbirds and I've got soft soles, hard soles, suede, leather in many colors. LOVE 'EM

I've had three pairs of these for several years now. I love them. They're my go to shoe for comfort and they show little wear. Wish they came in pink.

I LOVE these shoes. I've gone through two pairs because I wear them so much, but I just love the soft sole.

OMG! I love these! SUPER comfy and just AMAZING. I own the white ones. I'm actually on my 3rd or 4th pair of these.. the bottoms wear out after a while... They look really good with skinny jeans.

I am probably one of your oldest moccasin wearers! I started wearing Minnetonka softsole Thunderbirds when I was 13 years old (they cost $2.98 at that time). I just turned 84 and still wear those comfy things. Have gone through many pairs of them. Just a few years ago I learned about duct taping the soles and they last longer that way. Love my mocs! And will be ordering another pair very soon.
