Sandal 2013 Design Time!

Have you checked out the new Minnetonka sandal line yet? At Minnetonka HQ, we’re already hitting the drawing board to plan for the sandals you’ll be wearing next year, envisioning what you’ll be dancing around beaches and summer boardwalks in for 2013. Here are a couple behind-the-scenes pictures of the sample room our product development team has been getting creative and having fun in  over the past month.

Shoe Heaven in London

Hello from London, where excitement (and construction) is abound for the upcoming Olympic Games, and where Carolyn and I made a quick trip to visit stores in the market including the famously fabulous shoe floor at Selfridges department store on Oxford Street.

Carolyn was bubbly getting her photo next to the largest sparkly pump we’ve ever seen (pictured), and we loved seeing Minnetonka styles prominently featured within Office’s cool shoe salon.  Our secret wish is for Princess Catherine to show up wearing a pair of our 5-Layer Fringe Boot at her next event, just like Carolyn!
