What was your first pair of Minnetonka moccasins?
My first pair of Minnetonkas were moccasins that I got from a shoe store in my home town.
How far have you and your Minnetonka’s traveled?
I take my Minnetonkas with me on every trip I go on. Last year I had the opportunity to go on a summer trip to Los Angeles California. I had never been west of Florida so this was a pretty exciting trip for me. I got to go to the walk of fame, and see the sets from some of my favorite shows. I saw the west coast for the first time, and went to The Grove. I’ve had my moccasins for years and they are in amazing shape and are still one of my most comfortable shoes. They’re always in my luggage when I travel!
Describe your Minnetonka style.
My Minnetonka style is vintage comfort; I love items that have a story behind them!

- Minnetonka will select one story to spotlight per day between May 22-26. After that time, Minnetonka will feature one story every two weeks.
- If your story is selected, you will be notified in advance. Upon submission you release all provided materials to Minnetonka for potential use on the Minnetonka Moccasin blog, Facebook and Twitter pages.
- Winners will have their choice of moccasins or slippers. Prizes will be mailed within 2 weeks of story spotlight.

What was your first pair of Minnetonka moccasins?
My name is Ashley, and I am an AVID fan of Minnetonka Moccasin! I tell everyone I know about them and how much I love them. My first pair of Minnetonkas were the Kilty suede mocs, and I have since bought three more pairs. All my Kilty’s were purchased at Santa Fe Craftsmen which is one of my favorite stores in Old Town, Fort Collins, Colorado. I have recently added a pair of booties to my collection as well and I can’t wait to wear them around.
How far have you and your Minnetonka’s traveled?
My Minnetonkas have traveled quite a bit I would say. I recently backpacked in Costa Rica for about a month and sported my Minnetonkas the entire time. They have walked along the beaches of Dominical, hiked to the waterfalls in Montezuma and stomped the crazy streets of San Jose. This entire experience was by far the best memories I have had while wearing my Minnetonkas.
Describe your Minnetonka style.
I would say that my Minnetonka style would be moccasins for sure. I love wearing them with just about anything and they are so comfortable. I love this company, you guys have never failed me!

Minnetonka Music Notes – Lana Del Ray
In Minnetonka Music Notes, we’ve always loved singer Lana Del Rey’s music but now we can’t help but love her Minnetonka style as well. We spotted Lana strolling around Cannes, France in her white Minnetonka Smooth Leather mocs while in town for the Cannes Film Festival. We admire how Lana has perfected her casual look in her Minnetonka mocs while still maintaining her signature hint of retro glamour style!
