What’s your Minnetonka story?
I still remember seeing the first pair of Minnetonkas I had to have when I was styling a shoot in Arizona. The model was wearing a pair of white classic moccasins and they were worn in. I had to have them instantly so I checked them out online and bought my first pair. They are so worn in now and I still love rocking them. They are always better with age!
If you could explain your style in one word or phrase, what would it be?
Eclectic
Whose style inspires you?
There are so many women that inspire my fashion these days. But, I think that Solange Knowles style has really transformed and I love how eclectic it is.
What song do you currently have on repeat?
I just heard Michael Jackson’s song on the radio, ‘The Way You Make Me Feel.’ I loved singing it at the top of my lungs and had to download it onto my phone. He made the best music ever! It’s never going to get old.
What’s on your summer reading list?
I’ve got a couple to download onto my iPad/Kindle, here are a few:
Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier (They refer to this book on Mad Men!)
White Tiger by Aravind Adiga, about the underprivileged people of India.
Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, I’ve meant to read and watch this forever. I need to get on it!
Thousand Splendid Sons by Khaled Hosseini, the same author as above. My sis-in-law highly recommends it.
Where is your favorite summer destination?
Hawaii was my last amazing summer getaway. It was my “baby-moon” for my first baby who is almost two. This year I am planning a staycation at a resort in Arizona and taking in all the fun with local getaways.
