My Minnetonka Story: Hannah Darling
What was your first pair of Minnetonka moccasins?
My first pair of Minnetonkas were the Calf Hi 3-Layer Fringe Boot in brown. I wore them for months straight, rain or shine, hiking in the mountains or out on the town.
Where were your first pair of Minnetonkas purchased?
I got my first pair of Minnetonkas on a road trip through the beautiful American Southwest. We stopped at a little gift shop in the middle of nowhere on the way to go camping at the Grand Canyon. I had to have a pair of the Minnetonkas they had lined up in the window. They were the perfect shoes to wear on my very first visit to that magical place. And I’ve worn them every time I’ve returned!
What is your favorite memory involving your Minnetonkas?
I once had an elderly co-worker of mine comment on my Minnetonka Moccasins, saying he wished he could wear stuff like that. I told him he could! He laughed, said I was right and I told him where he could find some moccasins of his own.
How far have you and your Minnetonkas traveled?
I’ve worn my Minnetonkas all over the country, from Yosemite National Park to New York City. Thats what I love about them, they’re so endlessly versatile.
Describe your Minnetonka style.
My Minnetonka style is casual and comfortable. But I love to dress them up too. Traveling, work, play- I pretty much wear them for any occasion.

- One entry per person
- Sorry, but you must live in the US or Puerto Rico, and you must be 18 or older
- Minnetonka will select one story to spotlight the first and third week of each month.
- If your story is selected, you will be notified in advance. Upon submission you release all provided materials to Minnetonka for potential use on the Minnetonka Moccasin blog, Facebook and Twitter pages.
- Winners will have their choice of moccasins or slippers. Prizes will be mailed within 2 weeks of story spotlight.
