What’s your Minnetonka story?
I recently bought a pair of moccasins for my 2-year-old daughter, Julia, because I was having trouble finding her cold weather shoes that actually stayed on her feet and didn’t require an army of patience to put on a squirmy toddler. I love them because she has a bad habit of taking off her shoes in public and she has yet to do so with her Minnetonka boots which my posterity greatly appreciates. My stylish grandma recently added a pink pair to her collection and bought Julia’s little brother, Sebastian, a pair of his very own.

If you could explain your style in one word or phrase what would it be?
Functional meets try-not-to-look-like-I’m-trying-too-hard. I would love to have the excuse to go all out and rock the latest trends but the reality is that most of my outings are to glamorous places like Costco and Target.

Whose style inspires you? Where do you find your inspiration?
I am such a sucker for fashion and style blogs and love the outfits Kendi, Bex, and Megan wear on their blogs. If I could raid anyone’s closet it would be probably the Olsen twins … two for one.

What’s your favorite trend this season?
How cliche do ankle boots and patterned denim sound? Because I love the look of both.

What song do you currently have on repeat?
I’m always years behind the curve but I’ve been loving Lana Del Ray even though she’s a little depressing … she gets me through my little teeny tiny jogs.

What’s your favorite city and why?
Not that I frequent this place a lot but I love Rome (as in Italy). How is it not everyone’s favorite place? I don’t know.

My Minnetonka must-have item is _____________.
This is tough because I LIVE in my Sheepskin Side Zip Fringe Boots (warmest shoes ever) but I truly love my Suede Ankle Boots because they are insanely comfortable, go with just about everything in my closet, and can be dressed up for a trip to Target or, you know, dressed down for a trip to Target.

  2. I love Camp Patton! Grace is so funny and her little people are adorable! I had Minnetonka moccasins as a child and my daughter now has the same pair that I had. So perfect!

  7. i read grace’s blog (camppatton) every day and i was super excited to discover minnetonka moccasins through her- i’m in love! i just became a new mom this year, and that means that i’ve had to update my wardrobe quite a bit. with the weather starting to get nippy, a pair of moccasins would help keep my toesies warm and cute, particularly if i was sportin’ a pair of those adorable sheepskin side zip fringe boots; i won’t lie, i’m drooling over them. hope i get picked!

  19. I LOVE MINNETONKA! I recently bought a pair of the leopard Kitty Moccasins and I love them. I wear them just about every day and they are so comfortable. If I won a pair I would love the Classic Driving Mocs. They’re perfect for work but also with jeans. How could you go wrong!?
