Minnetonka Blogger Spotlight: Maria of Little Tree Vintage
Twice a month Minnetonka spotlights the style of bloggers we love in our Minnetonka Blogger Spotlight.
This week we’re very excited to spotlight Maria, the blogger behind Little Tree Vintage, one of our favorite style blogs to visit when we are in need of a little fashion inspiration. We love how Maria styled these three adorable summer looks in her signature indie-urban-chic style featuring a few iconic Minnetonka styles including the 3-Layer Fringe Boot, the Thunderbird Crepe Sole, Thunderbird Boat Sole and Fringe handbag.
Check out Maria’s Minnetonka story and find out what inspires her style in our Q&A. Plus stop by Little Tree Vintage to say hi and enter to win a pair of your very own Calf Hi 3-Layer Fringe Boots!
What’s your Minnetonka story?
I got my first pair of Minnetonkas a few years ago and instantly fell in love. They are the double fringe side zip boot, and they are the cutest little mocs I have ever laid my eyes on. You can see me wearing them, here and here. The material, and how beautifully crafted they are has made them last all these years, and they are still in MINT condition.
If you could explain your style in one word or phrase, what would it be?
I think if I had to pick one phrase it would definitely be indie-urban-chic. If that even makes any sense! I love independent designers and an urban city look, and even though I throw in some “edge” here and there, overall I love having that girly touch.
Whose style inspires you?
On a daily basis I read a lot of different blogs, so I definitely get inspired by other bloggers who know how to dress. Another source of inspiration is reading fashion magazines such as Nylon, Zooey Magazine, and Vogue. I also really love Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, their style has always been a huge inspiration to me.
What song do you currently have on repeat?
I am a huge sap when it comes to music, I love slow songs and I LOVE love songs. Right now “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri is on the repeat list, and when I am not listening to it, I am singing it.
What’s on your summer reading list?
This summer I really want to read On the Road by Jack Kerouac, and I also want to finish my Brian Andreas collection.
Where is your favorite summer destination?
My favorite summer destination is definitely Cyprus. I spent a few earlier years of my life there, and I have a lot of family that still lives there, so for me that is home. I went back two years ago, and I just miss it so much. I miss the beaches, and the mountains in my grandmother’s village. I miss it all. I would go back in a heartbeat.
My Minnetonka must have item is _______
I love the Minnetonka Feather mocs , they are so beautiful, and the feather is really the perfect touch.
