Celebs Spotted at the Minnetonka Sundance Photo Booth

This weekend, Minnetonka packed our bags and headed to Park City, Utah for the opening of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. With the most picturesque view in the city from the Sky Blue rooftop lounge, celebs and fans alike were happy to jump into the Minnetonka Photo Scene and capture the moment (that amazing background is real, we swear!).

Minnetonka at the Teen Choice Style Lounge

Minnetonka was excited to be part of the Teen Choice Style Lounge at SLS Beverly Hills last Thursday in anticipation of the Teen Choice Awards Sunday night.  The style lounge gave nominees, presenters and celebs a chance to check out some of the latest products on the market including a variety of new fall colors and styles from Minnetonka.

Minnetonka at the Thirst Project Gala

Recently Minnetonka had the exciting opportunity to attend the Third Annual Thirst Project Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.  The Thirst Project is an unbelievably inspiring grassroots organization founded by Seth Maxwell who’s mission is to raise awareness about the world water crisis and to provide safe, clean water and sanitation to 1 Million people by 2015. What an amazing goal!

At this year’s Thirst Project Gala, Hollywood celebrities had a chance to shop the latest styles and colors of Minnetonka mocs.  Chyler Leigh, Sarah Drew, Audrina Patridge and Lance Bass were amongst the many celebrities attending the Gala raising awareness about the world water crisis.  The Gala successfully raised over $188,000 for clean water wells that will be built in Swaziland and Colombia.

Minnetonka Music Notes – Lana Del Ray

In Minnetonka Music Notes, we’ve always loved singer Lana Del Rey’s music but now we can’t help but love her Minnetonka style as well.   We spotted Lana strolling around Cannes, France in her white Minnetonka Smooth Leather mocs while in town for the Cannes Film Festival.  We admire how Lana has perfected her casual look in her Minnetonka mocs while still maintaining her signature hint of retro glamour style!

Wren F/W 12 Launch Film featuring Minnetonka and Tavi Gevinson

Tavi Gevinson stars in the Wren F/W 12 Short Film, "Beware of Young Girls"

Minnetonka’s collaboration with Wren designer, Melissa Coker was unveiled last week at the Wren F/W 12 preview party, which featured a screening of their launch film, “Beware of Young Girls.” Directed by Maximilla Lukacs and Sarah Sophie Flicker, the film stars fashion blogger and editor of Rookiemag.com, Tavi Gevinson. Tavi performs an excerpt from the song written under the same name by the late Dori Previn.

Produced exclusively for Wren’s Fall 2012 presentation, the Minnetonka Navy/Red Thunderbird II is featured within the film and in outtakes from the shoot.
