Handcrafted for the Holidays: Hot Chocolate Stirrers

Handcrafted for the Holidays

Hot Chocolate Stirrers created by Kinsey from Sincerely, Kinsey

For the Handcrafted for the Holidays lookbook, I made three different kinds of hot chocolate dippers:

Peppermint
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup
S’mores – You’ll need graham crackers and mini marshmallows.

See below for all three recipes to make this winter!

Ingredients: dark chocolate chips, wooden skewers, chocolate mold, cooking pot and mixing spoon.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Hot Chocolate Dippers

1. Begin heating the chocolate chips on the stove top on low, continuously stirring to keep the chocolate from burning.

2. Break up small pieces of Reese’s and placed them in the bottom of the chocolate mold.

3. Once the chocolate is completely melted, begin pouring it into the chocolate mold on top of the Reese’s pieces.

4. Lastly, stick wooden skewers in the middle of the mold. You’ll want to move quickly before the chocolate begins to harden.

5. Store these in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until completely hardened.

S’more Hot Chocolate Dippers:

1. Begin heating the chocolate chips on the stove top on low, continuously stirring to keep the chocolate from burning.

2. While the chocolate is melting, take one graham cracker rectangle and cut it in half.

3. Once the chocolate is melted, take the mixing spoon and spread a thick layer of melted chocolate on the inside of the graham cracker square.

4. Quickly place four mini marshmallows onto the graham cracker and wedge the skewer in between the marshmallows.

5. Lastly, add a thick layer of melted chocolate to the inside of the other graham cracker square and place it on top of the marshmallows, creating a s’more. Again, you’ll want to do steps 3-5 quickly before the chocolate begins to harden.

6. Store these in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until completely hardened.

Peppermint Hot Chocolate Dippers:

1. Begin heating the chocolate chips on the stove top on low, continuously stirring to keep the chocolate from burning.

2. While the chocolate is melting, break the peppermint stick into small pieces.

3. Once the chocolate is completely melted, pour the melted chocolate in the mold and sprinkle broken pieces of peppermint on top.

4. Lastly, stick wooden skewers in the middle of the mold. You’ll want to move quickly before the chocolate begins to harden.

5. Store these in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until completely hardened.
