What’s your Minnetonka story?
Minnetonka has played a key role in the theme of Sterling Leather since our opening in 1980. Our store is comprised of styles ranging from rugged western to classic and contemporary fashion. We offer a broad selection of unique products, including some of the highest quality leather goods available. We specialize in all types of leather footwear, especially cowboy boots and moccasins, and Minnetonka is central to our theme.
What are the most popular Minnetonka styles at Sterling Leather?
The most popular styles of Minnetonka vary from year to year. First the Thunderbird moccasins in any color were all the rage and now the Kilty suede moc has become extremely popular with our customers. However, no one can argue that the Cally slipper for women and the Casey for men are just perfect for fashion and comfort.
What are a few of your favorite “must see” destinations when visiting the New Hope and Lahaska areas near Sterling Leather?
Anyone visiting either of our stores will never be without a variety of things to do after shopping for their Minnetonkas. The areas are always featured as a “top destination” with many bed and breakfasts, restaurants and tourist attractions. For the more active individual there is boating on the Delaware, scenic bike riding and hiking. If you are interested in more cultural events, the area is full of museums, art galleries, and historic areas such as Washington’s Crossing and various unique antique shops. The New Hope County Playhouse just had a major renovation and is open for theatrical events. If shopping is your thing, Peddler’s Village has more than 70 unique shops and is adjacent to Penn’s Purchase, which offers discount brand outlets.
