    Q: Can you wear the softsole boots outdoors?

    Hi Aimee - Thank you for your question. Softsoles, by their very nature of lacking a more structured rubber sole, are more suited for use as indoor shoes. Without rubber soles, softsole moccasins are ill-suited to be worn outdoors on concrete and pavement, as well as in elements such as rain, snow, mud, etc. With only suede (or leather) as the outsole, a thin callous can form with gentle wear which helps the moccasins last. But with more rigorous wear outdoors, the suede (or leather) wears through at a much faster rate since they are not intended as athletic wear.They can be worn outside, it may be tough in weather with elements.     Q: I purchased the zip back soft sole and love them so much but is there a way to soften the seam. I have worn them 3 times and each time I have to put wide band aid over my small toes on both feet as this is where the discomfort occurs. The first time I wore them to work I had to get some wide band aids from the first aid kit. I do no want to return them but would love to know if there is any way to resolve this issue and/or will wearing them fix this issue?Thanks so much for any suggestions.

    Hi Brenda! With time and wear, the leather and seams will definitely soften and conform to your feet.     Q: Do these soft sole back zip mocs have any rubber in the sole? I want to know if they will ground with the earth or if there is material in them that will block proper grounding.

    Hi Leslie, Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, we do not manufacture any styles that are appropriate for Grounding/Earthing purposes. While we do offer softsole styles (leather/suede soles), all have a man-made, thin foam padded insole that we do not advise removing. If the foam insole is removed, there will be glue remnants.
