On Trend I Rose

A single Minnetonka style can be worn a million different ways. That’s why we love when creative powerhouse and stylist Liz Gardner stops by our Minneapolis headquarters to show us how to align some of our bestselling styles with key trends of the season. Today Liz shows us three modern ways to incorporate one of Pantone's Color(s) of Year, Rose, into your wardrobe.

Pantone recently named Rose Quartz one of its colors of the year and has previously featured rose on both it's Fall 2015 + Spring 2016 color trend reports. Used in a tonal way, as shown, it's a great way to add femininity in a sophisticated and modern way.

Layering of rose tones with a 70's influenced burgundy leather skirt hits all the right notes: color, texture and era. Take off the over the knee socks and this look will still feel fresh in the spring.

High hemlines are throwing back to the 60's and 70's for fall into spring. As seen recently on the runways at both Carven + Yves Saint Laurent.

How will you be incorporating rose into your wardrobe this season?  Tell us in the comments below.
