RAISING THE BARRE
We’ve all been there. You see a cute pair of flats assuming they’ll be easy on your feet, only to encounter rubbing or stiffness. With Anna, we specifically designed the ballet flat for support and comfort. We utilize the same craftsmanship we’ve been known for as with our other shoe styles.
Each piece is carefully constructed one step at a time. Leather and fabric pieces are cut before being gathered and hand stitched. The topline of the Anna is elasticized. This is an important feature, as it makes the flat easy to slide on, stays snug on the feet, and provides flexibility with every step. Silky grosgrain is stitched together for the lining of the shoe. The interior also features a fully padded insole. For extra support, a foot cushion is provided at the heel, stamped with the Minnetonka logo. Then a lightweight and flexible rubber outsole is adhered to the bottom. The result is an elevated ballet flat that stays gentle on your feet.
