ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hannah Standstrong
Hannah Standstrong is a Duluth-based Ojibwe artist and citizen of the White Earth Nation who specializes in Northern Woodlands beadwork and moccasin making.
Hannah has been a jingle dress dancer all her life and is interested in bringing Ojibwe designs into everyday use. She finds inspiration for her art in multiple forms including nature, teachings, and conversations. Appreciation and processing lived experiences through beadwork is something she wishes other people could feel.
