Hi Nikhil, Thanks for reaching out. Softsoles, by their very nature of lacking a more structured rubber sole, are more suited for use as indoor shoes. Without rubber soles, softsole moccasins are ill-suited to be worn outdoors on concrete and pavement, as well as in elements such as rain, snow, mud, etc. With only suede (or leather) as the outsole, a thin callous can form with gentle wear which helps the moccasins last. But with more rigorous wear outdoors, the suede (or leather) wears through at a much faster rate since they are not intended as athletic wear. Regards, Minnetonka
