The Wicanh’pi Moc features Afton Josette Delgado’s star-inspired floral design, honoring the creation story of the Očéti Šakowin. Made with genuine suede and Minnetonka’s signature hand-stitched detailing, this moccasin blends timeless craftsmanship with cultural storytelling.
Wicanh’pi (pronounced wee-CHANKH-pee), meaning “star” in Dakota, reflects our connection to the sky, land, and plant nation. This moc is a tribute to Native resilience, kinship, and the enduring spirit of creativity.
Crafted in collaboration with Afton Josette Delgado, an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota tribe with roots in Santee and Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate.
In honor of the Wicanh'pi collection, and our ongoing commitment to the Native American community, Minnetonka will be donating to the American Indian Family and Children Services (AIFACS).
