MINNETONKA X ADRIENNE BENJAMIN
Stripes with a Story

A Minnesotan, Anishinaabe, and a member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, Minnetonka’s Reconciliation Advisor Adrienne Benjamin, is a multifaceted artist whose pieces encompass personal experiences and traditional cultural teachings. Originally featured in her collection of limited-edition hats, Adrienne’s original beaded design has been beautifully reimagined as the focal point of this suede moc collection. Bepeshaa translates to "it has stripes" (repeating or reduplicated) in the Ojibwe language. In much of Adrienne’s artwork, she uses Ojibwemowin to give life, meaning, and vibrancy to what she creates – and this collection is no different.

For every pair purchased, a product lifetime royalty will be paid directly to Adrienne for her original design. In honor of this collaboration, Minnetonka will also be donating to Onamia Public Schools Indian Education Program, chosen by Adrienne.
