We’re equally committed to responsible sourcing. The tanneries we partner with follow environmentally conscious practices and meet rigorous sustainability standards. Our Dominican Republic tannery has earned Gold certification from the Leather Working Group for sustainable operations, while our Mexico tannery holds Silver certification and has been recognized for its emissions reporting and energy‑efficiency efforts. In China, our tannery partners adhere to strict government environmental regulations, and we continue to work closely with them toward formal Leather Working Group certification.

COWHIDE LEATHER

Smooth cowhide leather brings a bit more structure and formality to our moccasin styles, while still wrapping your feet in comfy softness.

COWHIDE SUEDE

Velvety-soft suede is a Minnetonka signature. Brushed cowhide suede creates ultra-comfortable, ultra-beautiful moccasins and boots, in vibrant colors as well as earthy neutrals.

MOOSEHIDE

Our moosehide comes from a family-owned tannery in Finland and provides the ultimate in supple yet durable leather.

DEERSKIN

Our soft, buttery deerskin is sourced in the U.S. and is used to create a number of styles that feel as light as air on your feet.

SHEEPSKIN

Top-grade sheepskin from Australia, New Zealand, and North America is used in our sheepskin slippers and boots to keep your feet snug and warm.

RECYCLED CARDBOARD

Every pair of shoes we sell is nestled inside a signature Minnetonka box. Every single box is made of 100% recycled materials and printed with earth-friendly soy ink.
